Need help to buy new Speakers/Components.

Hello,

I currently own the Alpine IVA-W505 Head Unit, and i have now decided to upgrade my speakers.

I also own a Concept CC-2002 MONO amp for the subs and 2 Soundstream 10" Subs in a ported box. I plan to use these subs and this amp once my HU-Soundprocessor-components/amp setup is ready.

I am currently running stock speakers.

I am also thinking of getting a sound processor so that i can run it with my speakers/comps.

I have been told to consider these brands.

Ok now the list grows....

Hertz MLK 165

Focal k2ps

Morel Hybrid Ovation 6

CDT ES Series

And ARC 300.4 amp.

well when you get your comps, you will need an amp for them. let me save you the hassel

it would be a perfect package for you, and the amp is ready to run active any time you want. which you will want to once you get used to your h701.

the mids have amazing midbass and the tweeters are very bright, and has every bit of power you would ever want out of it. this would bring your front stage to life.

yeah i know that is good, but i also need the rear ones too, and probably a 4ch amp the 100.2 is 2ch no?

no its a comp set with xover only need a 2 channel you hook up one channel to each crossover and then hook up the mid and tweeter to the crossover and set the HP filter on the amp to 80-120hz anywhere in there of your liking, and with those comps and amp you wont need any rear speakers and if you insist on rears run the rear speakers off the HU power

most people like myself dont run rears and i have 1500rms of subs ported and only use one set of comps upfront on 175rms watts per side

Limit is like $500 +/- depends. if there is something really far better than the $500 range and falls in the $650 range ill get it.

nvm your substage would be what subs and power you are gonna run, and limit 500 for comps and amp

Yeah i dont need more power than whats coming out of the Concept and the soundstreams.

I need PERFECT CLARITY SPEAKERS, like super high quality speakers and tweeters with awesome midrange ALSO!!!

I was gonna say if ur interested, I think I sent you a pm, but a buddy of mine can do the hertz mlk 165 for $499, I'm getting 2 of those sets, they'd be kick *** speakers. Can't beat em for that price, they retail for $1000.

If i get a 2 ch amp and run rears of the HU, then how will i hook up my H701 to the rears? And are the MLK 165 better than the CDT 072iz gold?
