need help setting up soundstream run 1000.1D

I just this amp today for my 2 10'' cvr102. Today. I have no idea where to set the input volume. Subsonic an some other type of filter. I want the bass to be loud, also how do I set the bass boost. Thanks in advance

Or give me a starting idea? The Hz is only labeled at the lowest an highest number

first, no no no bass boost. second, you only need subsonic filter if the subs are in a ported box, most say 5-10hrtz below box tuning. the best way to set gains is with a dmm, to set by ear; turn the gain on amp to it's lowest setting, no boosted signal at all, turn the bass setting on hu to zero. turn head unit volume up until it starts to sound distorted then backdown until clear, usually about 85% of max volume. turn the gain up on the amp, again stop when the signal sounds distorted, and back it down a bit. not the best way, but will work most of the time. set the low pass filter usually between 80-100hrtz. phase at zero unless subs are inverted. also, no bass boost on hu, if there are controls for the sub, you can use that. my kenwood x396's sub control is 0-15, i have it on 15. like i said, not the best way, but will work.

Ok I did this an subs are not loud at all?! It's a sealed box an was way loader with them at 150 watts should be 400 now. How do I hook RCA up properly

the rca's just need to match output from hu to input on the amp, ie, match up the colors on back of hu to input on amp. what kind of hu? maybe a lil help from someone more knowledgable that i am...lol. how do you have the subs wired/what impedence are they?

Ah I really don't wantvto take hu out lol, and I have then wired to a 2 ohm load.
