Need help reprogramming DEI alarm

I have a Clifford 3.5RSX. The brain that came with it went bad, so I got another brain. I just got the new brain in but how do I reprogram the older remote to work with the newer brain? Open a door, turn key to on, press valet switch once then let go and press and hold it. Press the lock button on your remote, that should do an autolearn. you can let go of the valet button after. did you do a tach learn already?

I just assumed that the alarm had a remote start on it to... does it?

you can do it with a tach wire or without. to do a tach learn(if you have the wire hooked up), turn the car on within like 10seconds hold down the valey button. The status led should go solid, when it does the tach has been learned.

Ah. Well I didn't have the remote start installed (6spd manual) Thanks though
