need help quick

car alarm wont stop going off, car wont start.....i disconnected the battery..but when i put it back on...it just starts going off again.

any help please?

Is there not an emergency override function?

I do not know enough about alarms to know if the process to do such a thing on mine is similar (or exactly the same for that matter) on other alarms so I'm not going to post how to do it on my specific alarm.

But if it is a decent alarm (what kind IS it, by the way) I'd wager there is some method of overriding it such as in the event of losing the remote, remote battery going dead, etc...

i think its a stock alarm....it jsut keeps going off..and i would not know where to find a override function.

its a 95 honda civic, anyone know what type of alarm this has or how to disarm it?

do u have remote start ? if ur car shuts off then it has some cut off somewhere on the alarm like when u step on the brake. factory or after market alarm?

if u have anafter market just take out the fuses connecting to the brain of the alarm then check ur wiring.

should be stock alarm i guess? The remote doesnt do anything? Put the batt cable back on and trying unlocking and lock all the doors with the key, trunk as well. Most stock alarms have some kind of key position cylinder switch. On an Eclipse my friend had you had to unlock the hatch with the key, open it then close it.
