Need Help! Quick!!

Ok so i installed my amp today. Its the memphis belle 1300 watt rms 5 channel amp.. I got everything in started it up, and it seems like the alt is struggling to keep the power going in the car. I have the big three completed so thats not the issue. The amp will turn on, keep power and it seems like the voltage is dropping to low and wont give it enough power to play. Are you saying it will not play at all? Even at low volume levels? If so the alt is not the problem. check your wiring

That is correct...which do u think would be the problem tho..Power or ground?

Does it go into protect mode? Do the power lights stay on? If it is going into protect and shutting down check the speaker wiring, If the lights go out check the voltage at the input if you have a meter.

ok..i went bak and check all my connections..pulled them out, then put them bak into the amp. The ground is to the battery. The power is good and the remote is good..I rechecked all of my speaker wires, and they are good too..?bad amp maybe?

So, you get no output, It isn't going into protect mode, and the power light shows that the amp is on, correct? If that is the case and you are sure that your inputs are good it could be an issue with the amp.

I was gettin no ouput. The amp was stayin in proctect. I took it to the company i got it from..they bench tested it..The amp was bad..they are gonna send it in to get fixed..
