I have 2001 chevy 1500 pick up truck I want a 2 12 but I dont know if they will fit in the back of the seat my budget is $500 can anyone help me out with this thank you
Or he could just get a dual 2 ohm sub and run it at 1 ohm, or two DVC 4 ohm subs and run it at 1 ohm.One ten down fired, or Better 8 will get it done, and check out the classifieds for an amp possibly.Want to run 2ohms or 1/4? Picking the rt subs for the ohms value is needed also?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Well his best bet would be to run at 1 ohm since it would be easier and cheaper to find an amp that does power at that load. Why you would even suggest running .25 ohms is beyond me.HE can,, yet does he want to run at 2ohms all day long 1ohms, or 4ohms,? One 4ohm DVC and run 2ohms /2and be at 1ohms ect??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
The ohm load isn't going to affect the way it sounds, it will just determine how much power his amp will put out and only change the output. The SQ is going to stay the same. I doubt he will be running much power anyway, so he will be just fine running an amp at 1 ohm.So what ohms do /or would you like to run? I run 2ohms mostly, a bit easier on my electrical, and sound just fine for me.Betters pair of 8s are some good quality subs too.Might ask about them, and he may have a good deal on them??A pair of 8s will sound just as good as one ten.One ten will also give you some room under the other seat for an amp/ or ? IMO, yet you still have the back firewall to attach the amps to should you go with a pair of 8s or tens. Not too sure that a 12 is going to do you much justice as far as air space needed as a ten or pair/single 8 would do.You could even do a quad of 6s in there?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sneaky.gif.7189749b3a3f769e8815b47e8ae87f88.gif
