Eclipse alloy cone 12in subs

Ive been seeing a few 12in ally coned eclipse's ive been considering buying. Ive noticed theres a few models that are 500wrms with alloy cones. Such as the 8122.4 and the sw6210, whats with that? Really my question is what size box you think they would do good sealed in? And is box size going to change between these models or should they all work well with around 1.25cuft. Thanks

The 8000 series Eclipse woofers were made by TC sounds. It's a cast, read: heavy, aluminum cone and needs a bit of power to get going. I've installed them in boxes as small as 1/2ft^3 and they still sounded great...they never got very loud though.

No idea on their newer stuff.
