Need help plz picking a sub for my pick up truck

I have 2001 chevy 1500 pick up truck I want a 2 12 but I dont know if they will fit in the back of the seat my budget is $500 can anyone help me out with this thank you

My bad im at work ok my goal is 2 12 or 2 10 I like sundown sa but I dont know if it will fit it is a reg cab not that much room behind the seat just want to get some nice bass in the truck. I drive it daily my budget 500 I just need some help picking the right stuff for my setup

Or he could just get a dual 2 ohm sub and run it at 1 ohm, or two DVC 4 ohm subs and run it at 1 ohm.

Op you will need at least 3 cubes of space for 10's so get us some measurements and we can advice you better..

I run 2ohms mostly, a bit easier on my electrical,and sound just fine for me.Betters pair of 8s are some good quality subs too.Might ask about them, and he may have a good deal on them??A pair of 8s will sound just as good as one ten.One ten will also give you some room under the other seat for an amp/ or ? Well his best bet would be to run at 1 ohm since it would be easier and cheaper to find an amp that does power at that load. Why you would even suggest running .25 ohms is beyond me.

The ohm load isn't going to affect the way it sounds, it will just determine how much power his amp will put out and only change the output. The SQ is going to stay the same. I doubt he will be running much power anyway, so he will be just fine running an amp at 1 ohm.
