ok so i just ordered (2) SA 12D4's and i want to go with a ported box! now my question is, it recommends for a ported box , 2.0ft^3 (tuned to 35hz, yields F3 of 28hz)..... ok now here is my question..... since im getting (2) 12's do i go with a 4.0ft^3 box ? do i double the 2ft^3 since im getting (2) 12's or do i need a box thats just 2ft^3????

Right^^^ and just in case, allow me to elaborate... Displacement is the space your subs as well as the port in your box use up, so your box may need to be 4.75 cubes before displacement (example) .. And of you need to know what your sub displacement would be for each sub you can find that in sub specs.. Good luck
