I was wondering what the biggest size rim I could buy would be that I could still keep all season tires on, and not have to swap out for winter snow and ice. Stock is 15's

19's can fit but its gonna look ridiculous without a drop. but then, once you drop, you're gonna have rubbing issues and whatnot.

i would have to say 18's at most.

17's if you still want to retain some shred of ride quality. 18's if you own a car for the enjoyment of those outside of it. :\ And im hesitant to use the word enjoyment, because its a civic, but I have nothing better atm.

Go with 17s. My buddy has black rims with silver lip. Looks alright.

Nothing wrong with going 18's or 19's with it. I had a protege5 2002 hatch and had my buddys 19's on it for like a month with some low pro's on them. Messed with my speed some, but the ride quailty wasnt all that bad. I did end up throwing some 18" Limited rims with some Federal low pros on it and it rode just like factory.

First of all, whats you buget how much do you want to spend????? I would do 18"s personally. 19"s are, but when it comes time to buy new tires thier a little more $$$. I know, I've had 18", 19" & 20", ,and beleve it or not I found tires for the 20"s the cheapest. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I always thought the bigger the rim means bigger tires which in retrospec ment more money. My 18" Federal tires were less money than my friends 19" tires and when I had 20's on my cutty the tires were quite a bit more than the 18's or 19's. Then again all companys run sales at different times of the year, so I guess it just depends. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

18's would be fine as long as you upgrade suspension to something slightly better than factory.... I had an 01 with a 2.5 inch drop drop zone suspension with 18's and it rode fine. did have to have a 35 series tire which i found out quick that if you live in ohio (pot hole capitol of the world) your rims wont last long) you can fit 19's on a civic but unless you have the EX special edition with the performance package you will have rubbing. dotn know why but in my owners manual it says they made the Special edition performance package capable of 19's without rubbing... hope that helped in anyway

btw 18's at 7.5 inches wide 2.5 inch drop didnt have a problem with rubbing

have some slightly used all season Toyo Proxes fz24 for sale if you want em 215/35/18...... PM me if interested
