need help picking amp

I have (2) dual 4 ohm vvx 10's and trying to decide on what amp i get.

My thinking(probably not right)- Get a 800 rms amp so i dont push them too hard. I drive about an hour and a half a day and listen to my music almost always around 80-90% volume.

Would this be a good stategy?

Any suggestions on amps?

It depends on the subs specs and power rating, You can get a good amp that puts 500 watts RMS @ 4 ohms, meaning it may put 700-800 watts @ 2 ohms and you just wire your subs for a 2 ohm configuration.
