I have 2 kicker solobaric's 12 and a 1500 watt cliff designs monoblock amp and it pounds hard. G/F says she can hear it from 3.5 blocks away. It's in a 90 gt hatch. I say go with kickers

How much are you paying for that sub? I am sure that one can be found that will give you much better SQ. Definitely ditch the Cap and have you thought about building your own box? For less than $20 you could build a much better box than that one...as long as you have some tools that you can get a hold of to do it.

Also, instead of shopping at that site, you could get some really good deals at eBay or look through the classifieds here even.

if you really wanted it to sound good, you would take a week and be happy getting the right shit, instead of wasting 500.00 on overnight shipping , so you can hurry and not be happy, get my point I have been on here less than a month and learned a lot. Whats a week to really have that system you want.

I am ordering this system today, I am putting this system in my 2000 pontiac firebird, would it sound nice? be LOUD, with nice sq? I'm more into loud bass and being heard from blocks away, would you suggest a new speaker or two?

Thats a good set-up.....but I still think you should ditch the cap, and upgrade the main battery to an Optima, or Kinetik. I also think u should ditch the box, and have one built to spec for the L7 thats what I did for mine and it makes the world of difference, thanks to a buddy of mine. So order everything, but the box and the cap.
