need help on subs

Then don't go with L7's, IMO.

How much can you afford and do you already have an amp?

i can afford about 300 a sub and i already have an amp, fosgate 851s

D2's or 12A's... how much does that amp put out?

With that amp, your best option would be to purchase one sub because of the resisitance.

If you will get only one sub, I would recommend a Magnum D2 or an ED A.

If you are set on two subs, I would go for some RE SE's.... this would be hella loud and sound good at the same time.
