i wired the amp from the battery in the trunk,, also i wired the remote wire from the ignition fuse, in the rear fuse box next to the batt. but the amp stays on when wired to this fuse,, i always wire it to the ignition fuse but its always in the front, and always turns on the amp when key is on, but in this 300c its always on ... not working off the ignition like im used to..

Is there some other way to wire the remote wire,, what do all u guys do? am i doing it wrong? i need help on this please.....

i got an idea

why not wire the REMOTE WIRE to the REMOTE WIRE lead on the headunit?

if yer using a stock headunit, test for a 12volt wire that activates only with the ignition.

lx cars are pretty stupid... Test for a 12volt source in the fuse box will work and yes there is one. If you cant find it, tap into the cig lighter in the front of the car and run a remote wire back. It is some what ghetto, but will work just fine.

If the fuse box is in the trunk, you will for SURE find a switched 12V source. Just get out a DMM and probe around until you find one. And while you are back there, upgrade that little ground wire they put on the battery. The stock wire is as small as speaker wire. Upgrade that bish to at least 4 awg.

X2 Thats what my installer did for my 300.
