I don’t live in the stats. But I have an option to upgrade my system when I visit.
My current system is composed of:
Morel pulse – mid's (6.5) and Xovers.
Morel elite- old model tweets (mt-2).
Front doors dampened with dynamet extreme door kit.
Solid audio MS40 amp (4*60). Two channels Bridged to the sub.
Bazooka EL104 sub.
I use my portable I-river IHP-120 MP3 player as a signal source. Connected directly to the amp.
My plan is to add a small mono for the sub, bridge my old amp in to two channels to drive my new (undecided) component system. Add a nice equalizer, also to be used as a pre-amp.
So, to sum it up. I'm looking for a good SQ component system (under 200$, if possible more around the 150$). A chip mono, my sub is only rated at 200W rms. And a reasonable equalizer (as chip as possible).
So far I've been looking at CDT comp's (EF/CL), edi 6000s, and alpine type-r/x.
And I have no idea what equalizer to get (I have a really low budget).
As for a mono amp I've been looking at profile amps, most likely something rated at 200+ RMS.
