I know nothing at all about car audio when my pops passed I had taken his car over and he had a very good car audio setup in his car (subwoofer and all that) but there's been a problem with the amp fuses blowing up and that which was fairly easy to fix honestly but this time is a bigger problem to me but maybe it isn't (hopefully) looks like this time the amp fuse holder melted but the thing is could the problem be bigger and the wiring also be messed up? I don't know much about this and jus want to know if I have to replace the fuse holder if there's any more I should know please let me know I just want to get my sound working again.

(NOTE: If it doesn't look like it was on tight I was messing with it taking out amp fuse etc.)

If problem is out of my control and has to do with wire fixing then should I jus take it some where to trouble shoot or is there a fairly easy tutorial to fix the wiring (I don't wanna View attachment 26557636View attachment 26557637View attachment 26557638 re snake wiring and anything lol)

I'm jus gon hope my problem isn't too bad and that I jus need to install new amp fuse holder with the 100 audiopipe amp fuses

any good fuse holder and fuse will work try stinger maxi fuse.. make sure ground is tight and no paint is under spot it's bolted or screw to before installing new fuse, check power wire make sure everything is tight and wire not corroded..

That sort of thing can happen if connections aren't really tight. Can you determine what gauge wire that is and tell us what amp(s) this is running? There might be other issues with too small wire or the wrong size fuse as well, but mostly this looks like the set screws that held the wire into the fuse-holder had loosened up.

Clean your wires up on each end. make sure you have good clean wiring and use this type fuse holder. More reliable and makes a great connection and easy change fuse out. I replace and clean mine up every year(fuses).Clean my connections every year and grounds.the AGU Fuse you are using corrode quickly and weaken over time. Loose connections can cause sparks and heat the plastics of which later ground out and blow the fuse if you are lucky, most cheaper brands do not blow the fuse and rather just meltdown and ground out. Always use a decent grade of fuse blocks. XS/Scorpian/ Stinger have been my choice over the years.T-Spec are pretty decent as well.$20 bucks spent on a good quality fuse block can save your audio gear as well as to keep your vehicle from starting a fire.Good grade wire is also recommended/well jacketed, insulated wiring for all car audio.Never go cheap on wiring and fusing.Always use good quality.
