Need Help Making Decision

I am building yet another system from scratch. So far I'm running PG Amps, and Components. I love them. I was dead set on the Alpine Type R Subs, until a friend said that for 119.99 at sonic electronix it HAS to be refurbished espeacially since its alpine it should be way more expensive. He suggested since I'm going PG everything else to go with the PG Octane ZR Subs. I'd be running a 1500w @ 2 ohm amp to either pair of the 12" Subs. Wich would you suggest, go ahead and go with the Type R's? or not? I've never ordered or had any experience with Sonicelectronix, and I've also never had any experience with PG Subs. However I've heard nothing but GREAT things about the Type R's. Also, I'm looking for LOUD BANG, SQ is important but only so much, I Dont want it to sound like garbage, but I want LOUD HARD HITTING bass more than anything.

get one 12" phoenix gold titanium elite if you want to stay PG

what kind of box willo you be using? i recomend the r's. if that is the sub you like then go for it. sonic electronix is a good site. they can also be found cheaper. i got mine for 2 for 200 new at the flea market with warrenty

I'll check into the PG Sub you're talking about springy, how do you like you're 12's MMATA? I also have an alterior (spelling?) motive, I've got a friend wanting to buy 2 L7's.. what you thnk those would do VS the Type R's or the One PG sub springy was talking about?

the 06 l7's(black ones) are know to get louder. i luv my r's. they sound clean nd hit hard in my monte carlo. it makes me happy so they r good subs to me. what kind of car r the l7's gooing into. both would b loud but i believe the alpines still sound better

Not sure what he will be putting it in. he has so many cars. I'm really thinking the type R's are my best choice fellas. putting 750 to each one should be just enough right? PG is generally dead on on the amps power rating right?

i just installed my 0ga..... all i can say is wow! the r's r allot better then i thought they where.... i love it when my car flexes
