Need help making a decision!!

Hey everyone, im about to install my first sound system into my car (2000 Honda Prelude) and i was wondering if you guys could help me make a decision.

Well here's the deal, I ordered some Alpine SPR-69C's for my rear deck and some Alpine SPR-17S's for my front speakers.

I plan on ordering a Alpine MRP-F600 to power my new Alpine speakers. But that's going to have to wait until i get some more cash(2-3 months)

But for now my friend gave me a ghetto American Legacy amp(Legacy LA690), and I cant decide whether or not i want to install it in my car.

So my question is, do you think i should install the Legacy amp, even though its shitty, for now. Or would it sound better if I just ran my new alpine speakers off of my head unit until i got my Alpine amp.

My head unit is a Pioneer DEH-3000IB which has 22watts x 4 RMS

Would the Legacy amp make my alpine speakers sound shitty. I've heard that Legacy amps have bad sound distortion.

What do you guys think?

Thanks, I really appreciate your help.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

just use the legacy amplifier for now. It will certainly have more power available for your speakers, and the distortion doesn't appear to be anything to write home about. Just make sure you keep the gains relatively low and you will be alright.
