need help major voltage drop

i have a 95 ford explorer with a yellow top and a new 130 amp alt. i did my big 3 and wiring with rockford 2ga. wire fused with a 100 fuse for alt to batt. i'm using 4 12in. type r's and 2 cadence txa1000d's doin 2000 watts rms with a 160 main fuse and a 2 or 3 farad cap,my prob is when i play both amps my voltage drops almost completely down i thought the big 3 would help but it didnt. what else could i do??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

exactly what does it drop to?

and definitely get rid of the caps asap...

200 a alt or bigger!

dont get rid of the cap belive it or not it is helping a lil bit! more batts more power!

Gauranteed its putting more strain on the system than its putting into it, and it discharges its useable power in less than half a second...so unless he strictly plays hard short kicks, its useless

at that power with out a ho alt it would be useless but it wont hurt(they still put capacitors in electronis till today)

would be better then a capacitor but your proble is you are consuming more amps then you are supplying HO ALT WILL SOLVE then add a batt. btw i have batts for sale !

lol a capacitor working in a circuit to accomplish a specific goal is different than a 2 or 3 farad capacitor trying to do the job of a 600-1000 amp, 20-80ah battery powering a high current system

what does "way down" mean...just give us a number, if its above 12 ur fine, if its above 11 ur okay but thats pretty nasty drop, if its in the 10's or below definitely need to upgrade

look into DB electronics or something i heard theyre alts arent that bad
