Need help keeping voltage up

Ok here is what i got right now.2awg wire from front car batt (Normal batt) to a batt isolator and then another 2awg wire from the isolator to two rear batt in the trunk both are just auto zone marine deep cell batts. got 2awg for both batt in the trunk to wire them together. And alternator wise i got a 180max and am struggling to keep 12 volt with out my subs playing when i run my lights or windshield wipers it goes below 12 and when i run my air compressors for my air ride setup it goes below 12? What is needed to get my voltage up. Better batt bigger alt what? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
you the kid from layitlow? have the batts load tested.

I have a 138 amp alt I am running factory alt and batt up front and two duralast marine batts in the back I'm running 14.4 factory and after big 3 I was sitting at 14.5 to 14.6 and I got a Missing link audio module and I sat anywhere from 14.8 to 15.1 look at the mla module and get rid of the isolator.

I don't think you should use a MLA module on wet cells, they will get too hot. I'm pretty sure they should only be used with AGM's.....

if you don't have a isolator how do you charge your front batt and your to rear Marnie batts. and my alt is 80at ideal , also what is a MLA or a AMG are you saying to to buy a new alt i really dont have that kind of money:(

I drove from North atlanta to Venice FL about 560 miles and about a nine hour trip. and My system was running the whole time not loud but still running and when i took the stuff out of the back I checked the batteries cuz I was afraid they would be hot but no they were not hot at all. They were fine. the MLA is awesome. helps with higher voltage, And to charge my back batteries you need to run both a positive wire and a neg. otherwise you will just drain the back batteries then they will be dead and all your current will go to the rear batts trying to charge them. That may be your prob. Try running a neg line to the rear batts and charge the two back batts and see what your current sits at then.

are you saying run my hot from my alt to the bat in front then run a pos and neg from the front batt to my two batt in my trunk? if so what Gauge and do you really think that will fix thing?

I'd say if your going to run anything and are running any sort of power over say 1000 rms I'd run 0 awg wire. and yes thats what I'm saying from the posts on your front battery run a wire from the positive post of the battery in the front to the battery in the back as well as a neg wire. Then run a strand of post wire from the first battery in the back to the second battery and same with the negitive side. Then on the last battery I would run a ground to the neg post. thats the way I have my set up ran and it works great. so you wanna run wire to connect each post pos together and negs together then ground the last battery like you would normally .

ok but when you have a normal car batt and a deep-cycle batt does that not screw things up. And i have a 80amp ideal and 140max is ok to run all three batt at 14v? Or is my alt just not big enough

How old is your alternator. They do fail eventually. 12volts is very very very low and will eventually damage your equipment. I would go to auto-zone and have all the batteries and also the alternator tested. I believe it is free. Get In The Zone......Auto-Zone
