Need help/info on Critical Mass sub please!

It's a Critical Mass SS82, just wanting to know if it's any good or not. If it's a good sq sub as well, it would be in a small sealed enclosure if that makes a difference with 450watts going to it. Ideally what would this sub compare to? And last, what would be a decent price for a new one? Thanks so much

They are nice subs for 8's I have a couple of them...its a 2 ohm sub and you can run about 500 watts to it...They like small sealed or ported enclousures...excellant SQ and deceant SPL

Cool, what are they comparable to? Like against a Sundown SA-8, Kicker S8L7, or JL 8w7 (if those are fair models to go against)!

well its hard to compare, because there supposed to be one of if not the best brands out there, but would have to say like a w7, pro bally doesn't get as loud as an sa8 but then again an sa8 has higher rms, and a larger magnet.

That would be a good price on a new one....I think they retail around $400 new....

Also do you know the mounting depth for these? I can't find it in the specs
