Need help in choosing an amp

i was told by a friend last night he has 2 10 inch subs and a 600 watt power acoustic 4ch amp bridgein his ext cab s-10 but they hit like 2 12s or harder an u can be 30-40 ft awaay why when i had an alpine mono block on my 2 hifonic 12s in my ext sierra i couldnt fill them out site of the my truck hardly at all untill u got right on the truck. but now im on the hut for a amp to do what his does but to my 12s and but the way we both have seal boxes but miine is a prefab down fire does that make a diff.

well this might not have anything to do with ur system but with ur car, or maybe just the box you are using, what kind of box did he have? what do you have? what are the models on the subs and amp you have now?

his box im not sure but mine is a dual seal downfire the subs r hifonics hf series 350 rms 700 maxx the amp i will use for now is a bazooka el2100 puttin out 330 bridge this is untill someone shows me a better one

I would honestly suggest getting some a sub that has a little better quality than the bazooka line.....but to answer the op's question look into hifoncs the bx series are somewhat buget amps but do decently...i had a bx1205 that never gave me any problems

this alpine amp would be alot better in many ways

btw, we don't know your subs vc configuration either (dvc 2 ohm, dvc 4ohm?)
