Need help identifying this sub!

I got these MTX 12s for super super cheap. They seem a few years old and I tried looking them up online but I couldn't find any info. The owner before me painted the cone a dark gray and I know the original color is silver. The voice coil is 2" and is svc 4 ohm. I would like to be able to identify the model # so I can find the t/s parameters. TIA!

no idea man those things look old school....if youre trying to build a box and cant find the parameters, just resort to a universal enclosure...are there really any other options at that point? good luck!

wow i have no clue. I would say maybe something similar to a 4000 series. The motor looks bigger than the shitty roadthunder series(and they were red and such)

in the gaps can you see the coil? some companys right the name of the sub on the coil or the paper its wrapped around

I hooked it up to the sub channel on my home stereo system and it was picking up the lows real well considering it was in free air. I was thinking something along the lines of it being an early 7000 series hence the 7712 part on the magnet but all the 7000 series on their site list a minimum 2.5" voice coil. I will probably just run them in 1.25 cu/ft per side sealed and see how they do.
