need help getting wire into amp

i need some tips on how to get my 1/0 wire from knu into the terminals on my amp. everytime i start to push the wire in i get a nice chunk of strands that fray out right next to the ground terminal.

I wrap the end and then solder just the tip....then remove the wrap and insert into the amp

or if it is not stripped yet, then solder before stripping

what are u wrapping it with. yes, it's allready stripped.

I use safety wire to wrap.....one or two winds, then twist.....

i'll give er a try, thats my only compaint about this wire. so many little strands that never wanna all goin in at the same time.
