Need help getting a head unit

I'm looking to replace my stock HU and need help picking a new one.

right now i'm running 4 kenwood kfc-1680ie speakers and

will soon have a 12 inch sub (kicker or something)

this is all in a 98 saturn sl1.

From Experience - Pioneer/Kenwood are good.

From hearsay - Alpine is also good in addition to the above.

yea i went with a kenwood KDC-mp435U

waiting on the console plastic to ship to install
