i won an ebay auction for a 13w7 and a 1000/1 and heres my problem...

1. no past deals on ebay

2.0 feedback/ rep

3.incredible deal got both for 230 and he ended the auctoin 8 days early after only 5 bids

4.doesnt take paypal only wants money order or cashier check

5.he wont do cod

Hey, you know what is great, I think Pistons has scammed me.

We agreed to trade my subs for his Kicker amp. I send the subs, he tells me it's not the one's he wanted. So I say go ahead and send them back. He says well, he will use them but would I take $200 for them, I say $220 and it's a deal. Well, his bank account was frozen, then he wanted to wait til friday to get paid, then wanted to wait for his income tax return, then finally told me he would pay me after he sold his Kicker SX1250.1. Well he sold that and now won't return any of my pm's. I have all the pm's we've sent back and forth (about 20 each way) I didn't want to go public with this, just try to settle through pm's but he's had the subs since Monday April 17th. Now, no replies, nothing. I map quested the distance to his house, it's 393 hours. Just a little over 6 hours of driving. Any thoughts, what should I do about him? Think it's worth the drive up there, i've never been to Michigan, maybe a weekend get-away?

not tryin to scam anyone i was out of town i asked my parents to send them back to him they never did. he will have his equipment back by the middle of this week and they are still brand new i couldnt get an amp to power anything at like 2.34 ohms and i cant find the 04 model that would have went along with the other three to finish the wall. im not scamming anyone i did sell my amp to masterp he sent me 300 cash via moneygram i could have kept that money and not sent the amp but i didnt im not here to scam anyone. the 300 cash was no help to my paypal problem though because my bank account was frozen for like 5 days waiting for my check from my tax returns to clear so i could not get money ot my paypal account. i have pmed jciu and well work it sorry for even havin to bug anyone with stupid shiit like this.

Buying car stereo produts over the internet is a crap shoot. I just now got into it shopping for my new car and it is crazy all the scams involved. I have been in the computer, home theater and high end camera market for the past 5 or so years and have never had a problem with the used ebay/forum market. Now car stereo market, that is a different story. I am constantly hearing horror stories about scams. What gives? Be careful buying a used product over the net, ESPECIALLY car stereos. I have given up, I will be happy to pay retail prices at my local dealer. Warrany and the fact I know I will actually get someting for my money is a great concept.
