Need help from all Illinois members and connecting state members!!

I am calling out to all members in Illinois and to all the connecting states close to the IL state line. I am trying to to get a list of shops to start contacting about doing shows next year. No sanctions just getting people together to compete against each other in different varieties with trophies and maybe cash prizes depending on entries. So if you have a shop nearby give me a name, address, and phone number.

This is where our last IL ca.com meet was at. They had a huge car show as well, so perhaps they will look into doing a more serious audio competiton next year. We had 20+ people get metered, and that wasn't a sanctioned show or anything.

However, I would like for these shows to be sanctioned in one way or another, whether it's db drag or MECA. DB drag is fairly easy, just pay the $100 sanctioning fee (which all of us IL competitors would be more than happy to split).

I can unfortunately attest to the fact that there is no decent shops here on the Rockford side of the border. I will either have to drive East into the suburbs or North into Wisconsin next time I need something installed.

Even though it's not a shop, the hooters in rockford had a MECA show back in 2007 as well. Though it was "hosted" by a shop that unfortunately is no longer in business.
