Hello new to the forums, I'm hoping for great help by all of you im on a budget 150-200 for an amp to power some image dynamics ctx65cs. I've read a few topics on here of amps used but alot of them are old ones where they don't sell the amps no more. I was thinking maybe a 2 channel amp since I'm thinking of only powering the front components I've read about bridging a 4 channel i don't know which route to take, I'm a newbie in car audio and slowly learning. Greatly would appreciate all your expertise.

Ppi 900.4. Right in your budget and you can go active later down the road if you so choose
Thank you for the quick reply that looks like a great amp with alot of power. I have a few newb questions sorry.

1. Would it be too much power for the components? How would I set it up i read these specs in rms RMS Power: 145 watts x 4 @ 4 ohms, 225 watts x 4 @ 2 ohms

• 450W RMS x 2 Channel @ 4 ohms Bridged.. i read that these components can handle 150rms.

2. How does going active work i read you have more control of the power and is better. Should I go this route?

Thank you for your patience just want to do things right and learn at the same time.

I'd save going active for later. There are plenty of guys on here that are experts on it, but that's another topic. Just adjust the gain conservatively on the amp and you'll be fine. its what we on here call "headroom". It's good not to use all the power on the amp, and if you need the power later on down the road, you have it waiting for you. Idk what those comps can handle, but you don't have to feed them every bit that they are capable of taking, especially if your substage won't be able to keep up with it. Good luck man, get the amp and report back.

For maximizing 4 ohm power on a budget a bridged 4 ch is a great option.

But I don't think there's any need to go that route. At

The PPI's a good option and 145 would be great for those speakers.

I wouldn't use the other two for active though - I'd use them to run a small sub.

Pio GM-D8604 would be another option.
