need help finding problem

i have 2 15" rockford fosgate hx2 first series ran down to 1 ohm but only pulling 2 ohm off ampliphier. i have a cheap 2000 wt nitro amp. i know its a piece a crap!

the other day i only had 1 sub working and i cant figure out why the other one is not working.i checked the channels all the wiring and everything is fine exept for me blowing the amp a day later. why wouldnt the other sub turn on? i honestly think that the amp fried something inside my sub i cant see. does anyone have a clue? please help me. these are my babies and im not done with em yet.

my first suggestion is BUY A NEW AMP....why would you run those good subs with a crap amp...i dont get it....

You wont find a problem unless you have an amp to test it with. So get a new amp. Check your tinsel leads on that sub though, something might be disconnected...

i know bad amp great speaker but had a show b4 it got 2 cold. i checked the tinsel leads and everything looks fine... i just cant understand it. ne one have a 3ooo wt amp for sale? remember im running these at 1 ohm

That amp didnt put anything near 3000w of power.

You need to see if the sub is fried as well. Get a Multimeter, and see what the resistance is across the coils.

i know that amp didnt give me 3000, but thats what i need. i need more juice. these subs took everything that that amp could possibly give out which was probaly about 1600 x 2.

i honeslty think my voice coil is blown
