Need Help Finding iPod source in HU

Hi, I have a Pioneer DEH-P545 HU, shown here: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4039_34478,00.html

I have connected my iPod to it using the Pioneer CD-RB10 Car RCA To P Bus Adaptor, shown here: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/hypaudio/cdrb10.html

My only problem is, I hook it all up, but I can't figure out which source is used as the iPod. Right now, my sources look like

--Radio

--"M-CD"

--CD

The radio plays the radio, cd plays the cd in the HU, but the M-CD does nothing, even with the ipod hooked up. Is there another source option I need to turn on?

In my Alpine I have to go into the Functions menu to enable the AUX input. Maybe Pioneer has the same thing?

Yea, try enabling the AUX input.

In my pioneer I had to enable it byt doing this.

Turn the HU off and then press down the multi-control button. Then scroll till it says AUX and select AUX on.

Thanks jackass, I don't have the manual. The HU came with the used car with no manual and of all the millions of manuals on Pioneer's website, mine is not available cuz the HU is like 10 years old.

I just read all of your advice and I will e-mail Pioneer and I'll try the things you guys suggested. Thank you for the help, I'll let you know how it goes.

You guys rock. You were right, i just had to turn the HU off and hold down the button and scroll through the imputs. I turned M-CD off since i don't use it and turned AUX on. Now my ipod works. And i figured out how to re-name the imput so it says I-POD now. It's so cool. Thanks a ton. I've had my ipod hooked up for like a month but can now finally play it. I'm stoked.
