Need Help Finding an amp repair savant to fix my Amp!

It is very hard to find anyone worth sending the amp to these days. Some take far to long while others do shotty work. There are a few members that do good work and decently quick, but they do it as a side job so they take limited amps in and such.

I had to get a personal amp tech local to me (who repairs amps for other companies) to work with us on repair our personal amps as well as some R&D that we needed from an outside source. That ended up being our best choice for that service. We have taken amps in from forums for repair here and there, but only when they can not get others to repair them.

my SoundStream 6500d is currently with Steve @ AmpMedics . Hopefully all turns out well with it.

Looks like I'm sending it to ZED audio for repair. In the amp world they got a solid rep.

lol, yah, i've seen that. otj in hidding. myself, i took a decade off of electronics repair, and only like to keep seasoning myself on personal projects. perhaps, i may start taking customers one day, but not yet....... also, with all different kinds of customers, from those who keep silent when screwed, to those who abuse, knowing or not, and cry wolf. i should expect to see less than flawless feedback from a decent volume shop, or person. not to mention that, which can happen in transit. there have been allot of problems in shipping, one of the worst being "inspections"...

yea i feel u man...its beginning to be a hassle. i just started to help a few people out. im just 24yrs and its more than i need to deal with right now. people think amps can be fixed in days...some can,some cant plus people not wanting to pay after things been fixed...im thinking about stopping for a while. i fixed to much and charge to little.
