I am willing to ship anywhere in north america as long as they have a/d/s experience. any help is appreciated.

In need of someone to fix my amp. It is a a/d/s M860 8ch amp with ch.1&2 blowing fuses. I have looked for a schematic for a while now with no luck. The local stereo repair shop kept it for 2mo then gave up due to: not having a schematic, double sided board, and no experience with a/d/s.

I was thinking of repairing this my self in a diyaudio thread but I really don't have a clue what I'm doing.

There are pics in thread/link below.

lol, sorry, i think spooney may still be not accepting business atm. not sure about others, but i don't really even work on electronics much in the summer months. more of a winter hobby. not sure why that tech/shop couldn't do it. it doesn't appear that much different than any other amp of similar design, with the exception, of caurse, to it having basically 4 different amp sections in one board (actually, it's like having 3 spare working amps to compare the broken one to)

Thats what I thought. I think that the crazy crossover network is what makes it look intimdating. lol

a member on here. im backed up and thinking about stopping for a while.
Ah man, and I was thinking about getting you to repair my discus 2k //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

OP, seems there are not a lot of choices for amp repair these days. There are a couple of businesses and individuals online, but very few that have flawless feedback. Seems the business is over run by shadyness and scamming recently..

Yep. lots of shady or inexperienced people claiming they can "fix this or that" then they use your amp for on the job training. I'm trying to avoid that again.
