Need Help finding a sub...

Alright, I read the Sticky, and am trying to follow the rules but I cant find the info I need anywhere.

I currently have 2 Alpine 12in Type R's in a sealed Q logic Box running of a Alpine M1005.

There blown(my fault) and Im replacing them. I thought about getting new ones and putting them in a self Built Ported Box..

However, after reading many different forums, I am really really confused.

So basically All im looking for is a recommendation of some sort. I want a Sub thats going to last me obviously..

What I really love is deeeeep bass. I like the roof to flex and the windows to rattle..

Its going to be running of my M1005 and will be in a sealed Box..

Im looking at

(2) 12in Alpine Type R's

(1) 18in FI BTL

(1) 18in ED 19ov.2

I can get the 19ov for very cheap with full warranty...so thats why its on my list.

I am open to any other suggestions(although that would confuse me more lol)

Im looking for sub 400 Dollars Total

well, if you had the power id say btl, but the m1005 is definitely not enough

if your going to port the rs, i would probably get those

ive never heard an 19ov though

whatever you do, dont get a q logic box, make your own

Thanks, I learned the hard way, but will never buy another q logic...

Yes after looking at the BTL in depth I noticed that...maybe ill have to check out a Hifonics amp. My only problem is I have the amps set up hidden right now..Under the seats, and alpines fit perfect..Id hate to have to put on in the cargo area...but i might..

The 19ov is Elemental Designs 18in.

go with the rs you have no where near enough power for the btl and 2 12s will be louder than 1 18

Thanks, i was hoping there were some other choices out there...but i guess im going to end up with the R's again...kinda disappointed. I was really looking forward to an 18in.

Let me ask you this, wouldnt the 18in sub, put out alot lower bass...which would = the powerfull bass i like..

for 400$ and 1000watts you have plenty more choices,

i would want to get something new also, but i think the rs will sound much different ported in a custom box

if you can port it look at fi q, adire brahma(supposed to be real low monsters), audioque hd3....... plenty more....

So you think the R's will really be that different in a proper box? Like make the roof flex different?

I thought the Q was more SQ, ill have to check it out again. I saw the bramas, but people seem to think there hard to get a hold of..And yeah ill def need to look at the audioque. Iv heard of the Hd3 but didnt know who mate them untill now.

I guess my main problem is I like bass with authority. I like to be able to feel it in my chest...Which is why i really want a 18in BTL...iv seen some videos and WOWWW...but they were running more power than I am..

Oh yeah, how about this...

12-18in FI BL...

I mean I have the Power to push them, and to be honest, they seem like they would trump a Type R....

I mean of course 1 18 BL to 2 12in Type R's

And with the free shipping it would come in only about 30 bucks more for the BL then the two type R's

I could even go down as far as a 12in honestly.

Like I said im open to ideas...

I just always wanted RE and being that the founder of RE is the founder of FI...i think the subs would definitly fit my tastes...
