Need help finding a alternator!

Please help! I got a friend I am doing a system for and am looking for a H/O alternator that will drop into a 2000 Ford Expediton. If you can post some links it would be great. Thank you for any help.. And yes, we will also be doing the big 3. System is roughly 2.5kw RMS

All right.. now my friend is scared by price... anything cheaper or is the Iraggi the only real option... Besides the numerous $170 200 amp alts on ebay.

Will that alternator supply a hifonics XX colossus 2? I've got a yellow top and kinetik hc800 in back (YT under hood)

We got 2 optima red tops, a 20 farad cap, the big 3 is gonna get done, and the amps are a XX-Colossus 2 and a XX-Jupiter. The Colossus will be wired to 2kw X 1 and the Jupiter will be set to 110 X 4

He was ok with $200 (the Ebay ones claming 200Amps) and may be willing to pay more.. he just doesnt want to pay more then he has to. I told him that for the watage he is running the system itself draws 175A but that is also assuming max power @ 100% efficency which we know doesnt happen. but if it did, I know 25A for his Expedition to run isnt good.

I think that 240 you posted is the kinda thing he is gonna need, and 370 aint a bad price either... I'm just not going to lie to him and tell him he NEEDS it without knowing, so I wanted to ask her for what people with more exprience then I have to say about it.

well he is going to need that one, i have one about the same size and i can still drop volts like none other.

please dont cheap out on the alt, its a very important part of the system...
