I hate to say it but pioneer premier 3000spl will handle 1000w rms, and don't need a ton of space. you can get two for around $300-350 off of ebay.

hell, i just looked at there prices. i might as well get 2 used IDMAXES if im gonn drop $400+ on these things. plus no one is sure yet of there build quality since AQ switched to chinese buildhouses.

yea, they only need 1^3 so once you figure displacement you should still be fine with your 2.5 cubes...not sure what the displacement is

they will be running off my merlin at 1800wrms.

the us amps md2 does 1800rms at 1 ohm? mines rated at just over 1500rms, so i guess thats a good thing to know

im not sure if i can swing that. guess it would depend on what i can get for my L7's. anyone have any idea what i could get for 2 L7s (crome cone) that are used but 100% functional and 9.5/10 cosmetic?

those are WAAY outta my price range. plus i dunno if id want to run my amp at .7 Ohm (def dont wanna run it at 1.4 Ohm).
