need help fast

first off iam new to this site. i dont know what kind of amp and all that i am running cause it was in the car when it was giving to me. But i will go and take out the 15 inch tv that the amp is siting behind to let you know all that. My problem is that the system was working fine when giving to me for bout a year then one day it stoped i was thinking that sub i had in there died so i brought a new one hooked it in and nuffin played so i just left it alone for awhile then i would be driving and you will hear it kick in every now then so i left it alone now when i stop at a red light it jumps in kicking like it used to but when i press the gas it goes out and when i have the car off and the key turned back it works and stay in what could be the problem. Its hooked up to the 1 main battery for the car it has alway been like that since it was first installed and worked great for a couple years like that and everything is still connected the same way

You need to take a look at the amp and see if there's any loose connections around it.

the remote wire is probably ran near the gas/break pedals. I needs to be secured away from moving parts if it's not already done.

sounds like the amp is going into protect mode. make sure all wires are secure
