for a crunch 1500 pzi set at 2ohms what should i set the gains for on the dmm i dobut it really does 750rms its gonna be powering 2 12's sony xplods 350rms a piece

its for a friend and he wants me to help him hook it up so what shoud i set the gains to as in watts 700

i know that i am saying how much does the crunch really put out i dont want to clip the signal

Ahh, sorry. I don't have any personal experience with those amps.

I did a quick search, and it seems that they do around 1,300RMS @ 1 ohm. so, you are around 650 @ 2 ohm. They are over-rated amps.

So, maybe shoot for around 600RMS, or 24.49 volts.
