Need Help Deciding

Ok so I recently decided to change out my entire system and put a new one in. I went with alpine, so far I bought:

Head Unit- INA-W900

Speakers- Spx-(13&17)PRO

Sub- SWX-1243D

Now im trying to decide what amp to get, i want to stick with alpine, they have a 5 channel amp that 4 channels are 80 watts and the 5th cannel is 300 watts for the sub. But i also dont want to spend to much money, but if it is going to sound like crap then ill invest in 2 amps, But im also worried about drawing to much power from my battery/alt.

Your sub is going to need more than 300 watts. Buy the MRP-M1000 or the PDX1.1000 if you're stuck on Alpine (can't imagine why you would be).

So, you got an INA-W900, a 12" Type X and two pairs of Type X components for $1k? I'm having a hard time believing that. You want to know why? Because I bought a IVA-W505 for a friend of mine. It's last gen's version of the INA-W900, which means it's obsolete, but the cheapest price ANYWHERE was $698...

I'd buy a INA-W900, but a manufacturer's warranty would be a MUST. I would've got that one from an authorized dealer, or at least a dealer that offers in house warranty. You'll be sol if that thing malfunctions in 6 months...and it can & does happen. A friend of mine bought two Clarion VRX585USB's and one malfunctioned under warranty. They couldn't fix it. Had to give him a buyout check, which tooks almost 3 months to get. He put that money towards his IVA-W505.

I don't know, dude. How big is it? If it's 130 amps or so, and you get a decent battery, it should be okay.

im running two aq1200's on my stock alt-70 amps, but im also really careful at how long i crank the bass.
