Need Help Deciding

This question has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks. I'm wondering if i should go with 2 15" kicker l7's or 2 12" l7's. I have a question for each setup. Just for reference i have a 2002 impala with a stock alternator at just over 100amps( i think).

2 12" l7's

1. Will I need a high output alt. and cap., or will the "big 3" do the job for this setup?

2 15" l7's

1. IS IT TOO MUCH BASS!?

If i do have to get a bigger alt. and install an extra battery for the 12" l7 setup then i will just go spend the little extra $ for the 15" setup. If i don't have to upgrade it all and just do the "big 3", i will just used that saved $ to install a touchscreen dvd player.

yeah screw a touchscreen....being able to watch movies in your car while you drive around is over rated

Thanks, for the electrical system is a capacitor neccesary? I've heard they are and i've heard they aren't. I just want to know before i drop the $ for one. thanks again

OP= how much power do you plan to put to each. both would like a good amount of power...

for the 2 12" l7's i would run them using a kicker zx1500.1 and for the 2 15" l7's i would run them using a kicker zx2500.1. I know i'll need the extra bat. and high output alternator for the 15" setup, but will i need a capacitor.

there's not a HUGE voltage pull from either of those amps, I'd upgrade, no matter what the case ends up being...
