Need help deciding what to choose

Alright, i've already got an amp thats rated at 2000 at 1 ohm. Now I'm looking to upgrade from my other setup of 2 12" L7s. I would like to keep it under $500 as far as the subs go but I'm not sure what to get. I was thinking either 3 15" CVRs or 2 15" Type-Rs or maybe 2 15" CVXs. Which would you go with? Or if you can recommend any other 15s in the same price range that'd be great too.

I think before you change subs you should try them ported first.
