I can not remember....I do know that a friend just sold one for 15k

we had a blast with it! actually had 4 people in the car and a trunk full of shit and were able to beat a brand new civic si with only the driver from 30-110 and from 55-110 very easily. by easily I mean the 55 drop we did not downshift and the 30 we just ***** him.

Yea those Legacy's look like thats what im going to get its gonna be hard to put any performance stuff on it since its already got a turbo and 20 mpg is alot better than my accord which is suppose to be getting 20, but gets like 17-18 so that will be better and it also looks sweet inside

Although I like the 6th gen Accord, be aware that there are transmission issues at around 80k - 120k. Not sure if that applies to the 98's though, I know it did for the later models of that generation. Though there are several members on this board who have had experience with this vehicle, so audio wise you can get quite a bit of input.

BTW...we were able to get over 25 from it by cruising 85 on the highway

edit: and averaged about 22 in the city while keeping it out of the boost range

i know this cuz i already have an accord and i just hit 88,000 and the transmission is really bad haha its weird ive beaten two cars and lost to the same cars it just depends on if my car wants to shift smooth or just jerk like hell haha

I really don't the 6th gen v6 accord was fast. It did have some highway speed, but take off is painfully slow.

If you want to stick with the honda make, I vote for the Acura RSX-S, plenty of aftermarket options & nice interior. Or the Acura TSX.

BTW, I owned a 6th gen v6 accord. I now have a 07 v6 accord, it has more power than the 6th gen, but I have an auto, so take off is still sluggish. I really wanted the 6 speed version, but I got a good deal on the car.

why are the civic si so slow? I thought that was supposed to be honda's performancy budget car?
