Alright with my budget I have come down to a few differnet ideas for HUs for the new system im putting together for my car:

Alpine CDA-9856

Pioneer DEH-P6800MP

Clarion DXZ465MP

or if you have other suggestions for around the $200 range??

out of curiosity, what exactly would qualify posting in the general audio discussion then...seems like you could say the same thing to about 99% of the other post in here

Just because the thread starter created the thread in the General subforum doesn't mean that it belongs here, fella.

The question asked by the OP is specifically regarding head units. It just so happens that we have a dedicated Head Units subforum here.

Have you taken a look in General Discussion? Its just that...General. Not a specific HU, not a specific amp,etc..

Have you taken a look in General Discussion? Its just that...General. Not a specific HU, not a specific amp,etc..

are you kidding me, there are tons of other threads in this section that are speaker, sub, amp specific etc.... i said that because you went out of your way to tell him hes in the wrong section, rather than just answering his question when you could say the same thing about so many other post in this section.
