Hey guys replacing my stolen setup with some higher end equipment. Heres what I am currently looking at:

Amp: JBL 500/1 Mono Amp

Cool thanks I was wondering if that would would be able to power the subs both in Dual 4 ohm. I guess I will also need to update my stock speakers as well any suggestions on those?

250 watts per chan with the 500/1. Consider using a 1000/1 to get 500 watts per sub.

Yes change ur stock speakers, i recommend CDT audio 6.5's, or some image dynamics chamelons

Cool thanks guys some people are saying I could save money by going with other equipment like this:

JL is a good company, and that would be a nice set up. that being said I personaly feel JL is way over priced. That amp is like 350 online and those subs are about 260 ea. I would do something like this

i would go for the updated seteup.

but i would run a different amp, maybe a Phoenix Gold Xenon 1200.1 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif but thats just cause i lolve my xenon amp. Or you could get a few Xenon X400.1 or X600.1 since they are dead cheap.

theirs tons of options, you could go with something from http://www.edesignaudio.com(full system in one stop), yuou could get subs from my fav sub maker http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com, could get some Type-R, could do tons of things with tons of amps and subs.

just go listen to some at local shops see what you like, check out prices on ebay. Or just start searching on hear.
