Need help choosing digital camera

I'm looking for a camera for

I need it for ebay pretty much. My current pos camera currently sux when photographing small items. I need something that could pick up the slightest detail in a dime or penny, for example. I need it to be able to take photos of items as small as .25" and still leave me(a total camera noob) with quality, accurate photos. I was looking at...

i own the Sony DSC H2 i bought mine at Circuit City with a big warranty. I was looking at that Canon S2, i didnt like the tiny LCD and the fact that it felt like a toy, The Sony is a more rugged, and heavy camera. I took alot of pics with my dads S2 Canon and after getting my sony i'llbe looking into getting the Sony SLR as well.

It will hold many, many more pix than I can see needing to store before I download them to the pc.
