Need help choosing an AMP!!!

Preferably under a hundred dollars, but if I can't get a good amp for under 100 I'm willing to pay more
100 is really low for a quality amp, 250-350 is what a decent 1200wrms will run you. Soundqubed has a good 1200 for little under 250. Might wanna shop used out of our forums or consider a lower wattage amp. The subs are only asking 500wrms, so maybe 600-800 range.

Would it be better to get an expensive 600-800 watt amp rather than a less expensive 1000-1200 watt amp?
In my experience if you go cheap you will just buy the better one soon after so get a decent amp the first time. Typically would say go ahead for the 1200 now other wise ull regret it later but a 600-800 watt amp would push the subs you listed plenty. This hobby gets addictive and you find yourself looking to go bigger and bigger almost as soon as you finish your build. So a little bit of head room for future upgrades is always a good idea.

Yeah... my buddy has a Power Acoustik GW312 with a big *** custom ported box that he made. He's running all that with a Hifonics Brutus BRZ1200. Needless to say, I'm inspired lol. I actually have a CRUNCH powerzone pzi 2250 1000 watt max amp and it is terrible... amp goes into protect after about 20min of intense bass and gets VERY hot (I currently have my subs in a pickup truck box that is meant to go behind the seats... I know... I have a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder SE)

This is the best you will do, its manufacture referb. Your not going to find a true 1200wrms cheaper then $140. This is a decent amp for sure, i dont think anyone will disagree with me.

If all you want to do is stomp your buddy that's simpleGet a good 750 and a good 15. Good box= buddies flee market **** will be stomped
I don't necessarily want to beat his setup, I just want a good system that will rattle your chest and/or alter your breathing pattern lol (my buddy's accomplishes this very well). I'm fairly certain my pioneers can give me that with a good ported box, and a better amp

Here is my thought, theory. Those speakers are 80w rms. Half of that is 40w rms. Add the 40 to the 80 and you get 120w. Get an amp that is 120w...
