Hey, I just bought 2 Pioneer Champion TS-W309S4 12" 2800 Watt Peak / 800 Watt RMS 4 Ohm Car Stereo Subwoofers in this Amazon deal: Amazon.com : Package: (2) Pioneer Champion TS-W309S4 12" 2800 Watt Peak / 800 Watt RMS 4 Ohm Car Stereo Subwoofers + Dual 12" MDF Vented Subwoofer Enclosure + Dual Sub Box Enclosure Kit With 14 Gauge Speaker Wire + Screws + Spade Terminals : Vehicle . I was wondering a good amp for this sub. I'm mostly using my system for heavy bass music. I was also told that it is advised to get an amp that can output the same RMS and the sub's RMS (in this case 2 subs are 800RMS total). I found out the hard way not to get an amp that is overpowered than the sub. I fryed out my old sub like that, hence getting a new one. I strive for an amp that has peak power of 2400 or so watts, to avoid hurting the sub. I will post my current setup below. Thanks in advance!
Also I need speaker cable that can handle all those watts!
