Need help choosing an amp...

yeah i know a guy who can help me build a box... but this setup would work though correct?

yes sir a type r 15inch at duel 4ohm, with a kicker 750.1, 750rms at 2ohm, and you can wire the duel 4 into 2ohm which is what the amp puts out so you will have a perfect match! lol. so to answer your question yes!!

or do you think i should get an amp that has 800 rms?? i want to get the most out of my sub

naw 750 is plenty of rms. if you want to get 800rmsn out of it you would have to step up to something like an kicker kx1200.1 or an orion 1200d or a sundown 1000d, or an orion 8002, or and those will run you a little more money then say a 750. i think for cheap that is a good set up for sure! provided you know how to set your cross oves on the deck and amp lol! fun times!!!
