need help choosing an amp

I have pretty much decided that I'll be running a single AQ HDC3 12 in the back of my 94 camaro. I need to pick an amp.

I can get a deal on a Rockford Fosgate 850.2 and it would match my rockford 450.4 mids/high amp. I can get it for under $200 but im worried it won't put out enough juice for that sub.

I also have been looking at AQ's 1200 watt amp. It would cost me a little more and give me a little more power but wouldn't match my other amp.

Any opinions on this? Other amps you might suggest to running the sub I'm getting?
