need help choosing an amp

hey guys, im really REALLY new at this car audio stuff and was hoping for some advice. Im looking to get some subs in my car but not sure what kind of amp i'll need. I can pick up 2 450W 12's for a great deal, so i was wondering what type of amp would be best to power these? im not looking to win any sort of audio compettion just get great quality for a reasonable price.

What subs are you getting? What is the voice coil configuration? (4ohm, 2ohm, single voice coil, dual voice coil) What is your budget for the amp? Answer these questions and it will be eaiser for someone to give you good advice.

as for my budget..i dont really know what i should be looking at really,maybe a couple hundred but im open for sugestion..also what would be the best amp type if i were to only use one of these 12" subs?...they arent in a box so i may only have 1 of them in my car.
