I'm installing 10 speakers in my boat and I need help deciding how many amps I need and specifically what one I would need. I'm wanting to install (2) 6" Rockford fosgates speakers, they are 4ohms, 75 rms and 150 watts max. The (6) 8" speakers are Rockford as well, they are 4ohm's 100rms and 200 watts max.

I'm wanting to go with the marine grade rockford amps to power the speakers but I don't know how many I need or which one's to get. Thank you for your help

Here is my thought, theory. Those speakers are 80w rms. Half of that is 40w rms. Add the 40 to the 80 and you get 120w. Get an amp that is 120w...
